Jackass 5 has officially been confirmed under the new title Jackass: Best and Last, with a CinemaCon trailer giving fans an early look at what is coming when the film arrives in theaters on June 26, 2026 through Paramount Pictures.

Directed by Jeff Tremaine, the film is set to close out the main run of the franchise. Johnny Knoxville returns alongside Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Jason “Wee Man” Acuña, Preston Lacy, Dave England, Danger Ehren, and Bam Margera, with archival footage of Bam also included.

The group comes back together for what is being positioned as a final chapter for the core lineup, bringing an end to a long running series that has stayed active for over two decades.

The title reveal came after early hints from Knoxville during a charity sweepstake event, but the CinemaCon presentation confirmed it for audiences in attendance.

While the trailer has not been released online, descriptions from the event have started to circulate, giving a clearer idea of the tone and direction of the film.

According to reports from the presentation, the trailer leaned heavily into reflection as well as new footage.

It included reactions from the crowd ranging from laughter to shock and even some emotional moments as the cast revisited their history.

Alongside the new material, there was also a strong focus on archival clips from earlier years of Jackass, including appearances by Ryan Dunn and Bam, bringing back moments from the group’s earlier days.

The new footage shown reportedly includes a mix of new stunt setups and returning cast members putting themselves into uncomfortable and chaotic situations.

Steve-O appears in a segment involving a robot named Larry performing a medical style gag, while Sean “Poopies” McInerney is shown dealing with a shock collar setup.

Another segment reportedly places the group inside a harsh escape room scenario designed to test their reactions under pressure.

During the CinemaCon panel, Johnny Knoxville addressed the audience and spoke about the project being the final entry in the main series.

He described it as a closing chapter for this version of the crew and said the team approached it knowing it would be their last film together in this format.

He also mentioned that the goal was to create something that reflects both where the franchise started and where it ends.
