Skateboarding has never been a stranger to Satanic imagery.
For many years, the industry has featured everything from the number of the devil 666 on magazines to demonic graphics on skateboard decks, Satanic inverted crosses, pentagrams, and logos inspired by Lucifer.
Some professional skaters have openly expressed admiration for Satan, while certain skate crews have incorporated black metal aesthetics and Satanim symbols into their identity.
For some people, these designs are simply part of skateboarding's rebellious culture. For others, they are something they would never want around their families.

Now, one influencer is warning parents about World Industries after spotting the brand's iconic devil character on a shirt intended for her young son.
Victoria Russell shared a video of herself shopping at Target with her children.
While browsing the clothing section, she came across a shirt that initially caught her attention.
She thought it looked cute, but apparently received a warning not to purchase it. Curious about what was on the clothing, she decided to take a closer look at the tag.
That's when she noticed the little devil character associated with World Industries.
After examining the design, Russell immediately changed her mind and decided against buying the shirt.
"We are not buying this," she said before putting the clothing back.

In her social media post, Russell explained that she believed the Holy Spirit had warned her against purchasing the item for a reason.
She also urged other parents to pay closer attention to the labels and designs found on their children's clothing.
"Holy Spirit told me NOT to buy this shirt for a reason. Check your clothes for demonic labels," she wrote.
She continued by suggesting that Satan was finding ways to sneak demonic imagery into people's homes through everyday products, including clothing.
"Satan thinks he's SLICK tryna sneak demons into your home through the tags on your CLOTHES! NOT TODAY, SATAN! YOU'VE BEEN EXPOSED!"
World Industries has featured its devil mascot, commonly associated with its skateboarding identity, throughout its history.

The character has appeared in skate videos, skateboard graphics, apparel, and other merchandise, becoming one of the brand's most recognizable designs.
The incident has brought renewed attention to the long relationship between skateboarding and religiously provocative artwork.
From devil characters and pentagrams to occult references and black metal influences, these themes have been part of skate culture for decades.

While many skateboarders see such imagery as artistic expression, humor, or an extension of skateboarding's rebellious roots, not everyone shares that interpretation.
Russell's reaction shows how the same graphics can be viewed very differently by parents who have religious concerns about what their children wear.
