The 100% skateboarder-owned company since 1986 has returned this 2021 and has blessed one of the OG's in the skate industry Lenny Rivas with a new signature board.
The great news was posted via H-Street's official Instagram account and says. "Lenny Rivas grew up skating in National City, just south of San Diego, in the 90’s era of super progressive street skating and had a lengthy career, riding for some of the top companies in Southern California."
The post added. "During his younger years, he taught himself math, artistic lettering. After watching Chad Muska draw on his griptape, like many skaters have, he started his on style of griptape lettering for himself and his homies and it became Lenster Grip, a custom griptape company."
"Lenny skated all over So Cal, mostly in LA and all his local spots and parks around National City, like Memorial Park and the Chula Vista park."
They continued. "At one point, he had a spoofie tribute graphic of Matt’s classic Street Swinger graphic for his Pro Model. So when Lenny showed up on H-Street, we thought that’d be a good start. We called up Bob Hickman for the task of creating a way better character for Lenny and we are stoked to introduce the first of two Pro Models for Lenny Rivas, who also drew the typestyle for the top logo."
"Lenny’s first model is available to Pre-Order at the all new H-Street online store in four sizes." The post mentioned. "We should be shipping this in 4-6 weeks. Stand by for intel on Lenny’s other model in a day or two."
Lenny Rivas is also hyped that he received a pro board from H-Street and said. "Back like I never left!!!"
