With the help of Vans Artistic Director Sza, who has been providing more brand awareness and helping shape the skateboarding industry, the R&B singer has made sure the brand remains transgender inclusive, which led to Danzig getting her own shoe.
LGBTQIA+ sponsored skater Efron Danzig had a night to remember at a dinner hosted by Interview Magazine to celebrate her new Vans shoe.
She also got a chance to do a small interview with Mel Ottenberg and shared the moment on social media.
Danzig Posted:
"From my shoe dinner hosted by Interview Mag plus a lil interview by Mel Ottenberg. Thank you again Vans."
The Premium Old Skool Efron Shoe is already getting love from the growing queer skate community.
Skateboarders are already stoked about the design and how it connects to Efron’s fashion choices.
With her ripping the streets and landing tricks like it’s nothing, Danzig is carving her lane and showing everybody she rolls her own way.
Vans and Violet Skateboards are both getting more attention thanks to her fan base.
For fans it is more than just a shoe. It is about community, representation, and supporting someone who keeps it real while skating her way.
The dinner, the interview, and the shoe all highlight the moments Danzig is creating.
