YouTube sensations The Dern Brothers have been visiting some classic spots recently and their latest stop brought them to one that skaters all over the world recognize.

They showed up at the Vanowen Bump, a spot with deep roots in skateboarding culture. For anyone who has spent hours watching skate videos, this sidewalk bump that launches you over a street gap is instantly familiar.

At first glance, the Vanowen Bump might not look like much to someone just passing by. It is just a small rise in the sidewalk with a street on the other side.

But once you are standing there with a board under your feet, it becomes clear that it is far from easy. The speed, timing and commitment all have to come together if you want to ride away clean. That is what makes this place so respected.

Make sure to watch the full video and do not forget to share it with the homies!
