What if your sofa was also your own DIY obstacle but modern?
The “Coping” skatable sofa by Leonardo Canton takes inspiration from skatepark architecture and brings some of those gnarly shapes into the living room.
You can sit on it, stretch out, take a nap, play video games, or grab a board and skate it.
The design was featured by designboom, which described the piece as a combination of seating, skating, and play.
Its curved edges and raised sections give it the look of something you might find at a skatepark, but it is designed to fit inside a home.
Having furniture that can actually be ridden is a pretty wild idea.
Your living room can become a place to hang out and mess around without needing to head outside.
This is definitely not your average couch.
