Pro skateboarder Cody McEntire might officially have a new home.
After shutting down his own company, Snake Farm Skateboards, all eyes have been on what his next move would be.
Lately, McEntire has been spending a lot of time at The Boonies skatepark.
He’s been skating with Richie Jackson and hanging out with Tim Pool, who runs the brand. Clips and photos started surfacing of Cody riding a Boonies board during private sessions, which got fans asking questions.
One fan, Justin Johnson, dropped a comment asking, “So is Cody getting a Boonies pro model or what?” and that got everyone talking. Then the Boonies admin chimed in and just said, “He sure will.”
With Taylor Silverman no longer riding for the company, it looks like McEntire is stepping into that spot.
It makes sense, especially since he’s already been around the team and skating the park regularly. The squad seems to have good chemistry, and McEntire’s skating lines up well with what The Boonies represents.
There’s no official word yet on what McEntire’s new board will look like or when it will drop, but the confirmation alone has fans hyped.
After years of doing things on his own, McEntire teaming up with The Boonies feels like the right kind of change since they are all proud Republicans.
For now, all signs point to McEntire becoming the newest pro under The Boonies banner, and judging by the reactions, skaters are ready for it.
