Skateboarder and rapper Tion Torrence aka Bukue One as his rap name recently brought back a clip that some of his older fans might remember and some of his newer followers definitely needed to see.
It’s one of those moments that doesn’t get old.
The kind of clip that makes you do a double take because it’s not every day you see someone land a front foot impossible while holding a mic during a live show.
He captioned the repost with:
“Yes, yes, time to bring this back as some of my fam and new fam haven't seen this clip yet!
During my touring years, especially during my time with Del, I would always skate during my set—at first before my set, then actually mid-song in my set😀.
On this fateful night in Baltimore, I decided to just try a frontside impossible, and the spirits of @jasontrogers and @howellocean must have been summoned because 🎯.. and the rest is history.
TAG A SKATER, RAPPER WHO WOULD BE STOKED ON THIS🤌🏿🤌🏿🤌🏿🫡”
The setting is a small venue in Baltimore. It’s got that low-ceiling, tightly-packed feel that makes it easier for moments like this to hit harder.
Bukue One’s performing with that usual smooth delivery, then breaks into a quick setup on his board right in the middle of the song. He just sends the front foot impossible and sticks it with perfect timing and insane 360 front shuvs.
There’s something super gnarly about how it plays out. Just live vocals, real skating, and no hesitation.
If you’ve ever tried that trick, you know it’s not exactly one you throw out mid-performance with a crowd watching and expect to land clean. But he pulls it off like it’s part of the routine.
