The premiere of Jackass "Best and Last" brought together many of the faces that helped make the franchise such a huge part of pop culture.
One thing fans quickly noticed, though, was that Bam Margera was nowhere to be seen. His absence did not come as much of a surprise since his relationship with the Jackass crew has remained strained for years, and he has never truly forgiven them following his departure from the franchise.
Even without Bam, his parents, Phil and April Margera, were there to celebrate the latest Jackass release.
Seeing the two of them on the red carpet brought plenty of smiles from longtime fans who remember all the chaos that happened inside the Margera family home during both Jackass and Viva La Bam.
Speaking during the premiere, April looked back on the many years they spent being part of the series.

She said the entire experience had been a lot of fun and that she was proud of everyone involved. Looking around at where the franchise is today, she admitted she never imagined they would still be talking about Jackass so many years later.
For anyone who watched the shows, the Margera house became almost as memorable as the cast itself.
It was the setting for countless stunts, pranks, and destruction that left behind stories the family still laughs about today. April joked that repair workers are often confused by unusual features around the house, forcing her to explain that they were leftovers from filming.
Not every memory came without frustration, though. One stunt still sticks with her after all these years. She recalled the time the crew rode a jet ski inside her swimming pool, leaving behind gas, oil, and plenty of damage.
To make matters even worse, that particular stunt never even made it into the final edit, making the cleanup feel even less worthwhile.
Even after dealing with years of outrageous pranks, April still spoke warmly about the people behind Jackass.

She described them as a close group that genuinely cares about one another despite everything they have gone through together.
She also remembered the late Ryan Dunn, saying he will always remain part of the Jackass family in everyone's hearts.
While many members of the cast have described Jackass Best and Last as the final chapter, Phil is not completely convinced the story is over.
Hearing the crowd cheer during the premiere gave him the feeling that audiences would gladly welcome another installment if the opportunity ever came around.
April also admitted that while this could be the end, it is difficult to completely rule anything out.

Still, the biggest talking point from the premiere was Bam Margera's absence.
His relationship with Johnny Knoxville and several members of the Jackass crew has remained damaged following legal disputes, public disagreements, and his removal from Jackass Forever.
Although many fans continue hoping to see everyone together again someday, that reunion has yet to happen.
