If you are a true OG skate head, you already know that April Margera is part of skateboarding.
Bam Margera’s mom has been one of skateboarding’s most supportive moms for years. She has always been there for her son and the skate community.
Now, April is dealing with a heartbreaking loss in her own family.
Her brother, Dan Cole, passed away at 68 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
April described Dan as an accomplished musician and drummer who worked with many respected names in music. He also spent many years working for Philly Case.
Outside of music, Dan loved the outdoors, gardening and spending time in nature. He was also a beloved uncle and “Poppy Dan” to Peter and Emma Gaffney.
April shared that Dan will be deeply missed by his family, friends and everyone who knew him.
