Now it looks like 5150 Skateshop has had to leave its storefront too. The good news is that the shop is still operating online while the owner searches for another location.
5150 Skateshop shared the news with customers, saying the previous location had to be given up so the property owner’s brother could use the space for dock work.
The shop already has a new setup, but for now, it is focused on online orders. Customers can also arrange store pickup by calling ahead.
Doyle Myrick is currently looking for another storefront and hopes to have a physical location again soon.

For longtime customers and skaters who have supported 5150, the change means things will look a little different for now. The shop may no longer have its previous location, but customers can still place orders and support the business online.
5150 Skateshop also continues to embrace its roots, with its social media featuring old school skateboarding and the #skatersover50 community.
For now, it is on to the next chapter for 5150.
