As we previously reported, Brother in Christ Lance Mountain has parted ways with Flip Skateboards.
Now, after a year without a board sponsor, he is releasing a limited run of pro decks as a free agent, giving core heads something new to get their hands on.
The Christian skateboarding legend shared the news on social media, announcing that the boards will be available Monday morning at 8:00 AM Pacific time.
The release features five different colorways, so collectors will have a few options to choose from. If you're a big fan of Lance, you might want to grab one to skate and another to keep in your collection.
The decks measure 9.5 inches wide and feature a square tail, making them well suited for tail taps. This is a pretty specific setup, but if you enjoy skating wider boards, it could be worth checking out.

Right now, this is a limited release, with Lance encouraging skaters to grab a deck before they sell out.
He also hinted that more is on the way, although he has yet to share details about what's coming next.
Could this be the start of something bigger?
With Lance now operating as a free agent, some fans may wonder if he will eventually launch his own skateboard brand.
Lance Mountain Skateboards would certainly be an interesting name to see on shop walls, and some merchandise would be worth checking out, too.
For now, though, there is no official announcement about a new brand.
The focus is on this small batch of decks for anyone looking to skate them or add them on their walls.
