As we previously reported, skateboarding legend Duane Peters has apparently changed his political views after previously supporting Donald Trump and the MAGA movement.
The former MAGA punk rocker has recently been using his social media to share a very different outlook, with his latest post taking aim at Israel, the music industry, and what he sees as fake or manufactured elements within punk culture.
Peters wrote, “HEY KIDS ISRAEL ISNOT REAL !!!!” before going on a lengthy rant about politics, war, punk rock, and the music industry.
He also told his followers to stop buying what he described as “fake shit” while bringing up various memories from his years playing in the punk scene.
Part of the post focused on his experiences during the 1998 Warped Tour.
DP recalled an incident involving a member of another band and claimed that his actions resulted in him being penalized after the crowd left following his band's set.

He then connected those memories to his broader criticism of the music business, accusing the industry of being filled with people he considers dishonest or fake.
The Master of Disaster finished the post by turning his attention back toward skateboarding and promoting his own board, describing himself as a real punk rocker and skateboarder.
The post is certainly a departure from the political position DP had previously expressed as a Trump and MAGA supporter.
His latest comments suggest that his views have shifted considerably, particularly when it comes to U.S. foreign policy and Israel.

The acid drop inventor has never been someone to shy away from saying exactly what he thinks.
His decades in punk rock and skateboarding have been filled with confrontational opinions, outspoken moments, and plenty of criticism aimed at the establishment.
Now, years after becoming associated with the MAGA movement, DP appears to be taking a very different position.
His latest statement has opened another chapter in his increasingly outspoken political commentary, while keeping the same confrontational attitude that has followed him throughout his career.
