Skateboard coach Greg D. Dwyer shared his experience speaking as a volunteer at Cowtown’s Skate and Create fundraiser.
The event brought different parts of the skateboarding community together while raising money for youth programs and new skate spots in local parks.
The fundraiser had a $40,000 goal and ended up going beyond it.
With the funds raised, Cowtown can continue helping more kids get on a skateboard, stay active, build confidence, and find a positive outlet that keeps them away from trouble.
