The shop was much more than a place to buy a deck or a fresh pair of shoes.

It was where friendships were made, video premieres were celebrated, and countless afternoons were spent skating the parking lot outside.

The shop became part of everyday life for several generations of skateboarders.

Mike Sinclair shared a heartfelt message after hearing the news, looking back on everything the shop meant to him throughout the years.

"40 years at this location has come to and end. I had some of my favorite times ever in this Skateshop and parking lot. I saw Sal Barbier Sal flip off the end of the loading dock, I saw Jason Lee and Guy Mariano blow my mind in this parking lot. The H-Street mini ramp demo was epic then the Hokus Pokus premiere was down the street at the Rialto theatre. This place gave me a job, connections and a lifetime of memories and laughs. How Reggie didn’t fire us all I will never know. Thank you Reggie for the amazing memories and keeping the scene alive for so many years. Can’t wait to see what’s next. ❤️"

His words paint a picture that many longtime customers can relate to.

Endless Grind was the kind of shop where people stopped by even if they were not planning to buy anything.

It was a place to catch up with the homies, talk about the latest videos, check out new products, and head outside for another sesh.

The parking lot itself became part of the shop's story.

Sinclair remembered seeing skate legends Sal Barbier, Jason Lee, and Guy Mariano skate there, moments that stayed with him decades later.

Events such as the H Street mini ramp demo and the premiere of Hokus Pokus also gave local skaters memories that still come up in conversations today.

Sinclair also gave credit to Reggie, thanking him for keeping the shop going through the years and giving so many people a place they could call home.

Running an independent skate shop for 40 years is not that simple, and many people who walked through the doors have stories of their own from that time.

While the building may no longer be home to Endless Grind, the memories made inside and outside the shop will stay with everyone who spent time there.

This OG core shop played an important role in the local skateboarding community for four decades. RIP!
