Blood Wizard Skateboards professional skateboarder Kyle Walsh has officially entered the chat for the longest grind in a gnarly way.
After coming up short in his previous attempt to top Zero Skateboards pro skater Kanaan Dern's record, Walsh said he wasn't done.

He even said, "The War Is Not Over," and it didn't take long for him to return with another attempt.
As we previously reported, Kanaan landed a 230 foot (70.1 meters) round bar grind that set a new benchmark, getting the skate community hyped on what he achieved.

Not long after, Red Bull's Maxim Habanec raised the number even higher with a 78 meter grind, putting himself at the top and passing Dern's distance.
The Dern brothers weren't about to let that stand.

Kanaan came back with a grind measured at 78.16 meters, taking the record back and continuing the friendly battle over the longest grind.

Now the story has another chapter.
Kyle shared a post simply saying:
"⚠️ 300FT NEW WORLD RECORD ⚠️"
If the measurement is confirmed, Walsh has gone beyond both Maxim and Kanaan with a 300 foot grind, putting his name at the top of the list.
That also means the battle may not be over.
The Dern brothers have shown before that they are willing to build longer rails when someone beats their distance.
If they decide to answer again, they may have to head back to Bam Margera's Castle Bam and extend the rail even further.
Building something that size is no small task and comes with a real cost. For real, it is going to be expensive.
Maxim also has the advantage of support from Red Bull, making projects like these much easier to organize and fund thanks to the company's backing.
For now though, the world record belongs to Kyle.
He has put together an incredible grind and, based on his announcement, now holds the longest grind ever recorded in skateboarding history.
Congratulations to Kyle on the achievement. We will be watching to see if Kanaan or Maxim answer with an even longer grind.
