The skateboarding community is asking for help after 63-year-old Julie Goforth was reported missing following a ride in California's El Mirage OHV area.
The news was shared by Girl Is Not A 4 Letter Word, which posted an urgent message asking people to spread the word and help locate one of their longtime skate sisters.
According to the post, Goforth is from Long Beach, California.
She was last seen Friday morning riding a green and black Kawasaki dirt bike in the El Mirage OHV area.
She reportedly became separated from a friend and has not been seen since.
The organization is asking anyone who was in the area on Friday morning to check any helmet camera, dash camera, or cell phone footage they may have.
Even a short video or photo could provide information that helps investigators determine where Goforth traveled after the two riders became separated.
Anyone with information about Julie Goforth's whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Harris at (760) 552 6800.
People who wish to remain anonymous can also call or text We Tip at (844) 909 3006 by referencing "REPORT," or submit information through the organization's online reporting system.
Since the post went live, skaters and friends have been sharing it across social media in hopes of reaching anyone who may have been riding or visiting the El Mirage area on Friday morning.
Many are encouraging others to repost the information, share it through Stories, and send it directly to friends who may have been in the desert that day.
Anyone who believes they may have seen Julie Goforth or her green and black Kawasaki dirt bike is encouraged to contact investigators as soon as possible.
