As we previously reported, pro skateboarders Nyjah Huston, Chris Joslin, and Dylan Jaeb were seen endorsing the online casino and sports betting company Stake.

At the time, it looked like the company was making a bigger investment in skateboarding. Now that has been confirmed, with Stake officially announcing Huston as its first global ambassador from the skateboarding world.
According to the press release, the partnership begins this month and comes just before the X Games Summer League Championship, where Huston will represent the brand as part of its growing involvement in skateboarding events and athletes.
Speaking about the partnership, Huston said he is happy to see companies like Stake supporting skateboarding and contest events.
"It's a great sign to see a company like Stake investing into X Games, action sports athletes, and skateboarding. I've always thought contest skating needs to get eyes on it, and brands like Stake being involved is a step in the right direction," Huston said.
He also shared his excitement about working with the company.
"I'm stoked to be working with them, and I have a feeling we're going to do some epic things together."
For Stake, this is the first time it has signed a professional skateboarder as a global ambassador. The company has already partnered with Street League Skateboarding and the X Games, and adding Huston continues its growing presence in skateboarding.
Stake Chief Marketing Officer Akhil Sarin said bringing Huston to the company was an easy decision because of everything he has accomplished throughout his career.
"Stake is proud to be home to many world class and iconic athletes in their respective sports. Adding Nyjah Huston, a true legend of skateboarding, to the Stake family is something we are really excited about," Sarin said.

He also explained that the company wants to help bring more attention to the athletes and competitions it supports.

Huston remains one of the most successful contest skateboarders of his generation. Throughout his career, he has earned seven Street League Skateboarding Super Crown World Championship titles and 15 X Games gold medals. Last year, he also earned a bronze medal in men's street skateboarding at the Paris Olympics, adding another achievement to an already impressive resume.
Sarin also shared why skateboarding fits well with Stake's plans going forward.
