Slam Skateboarding Magazine is Australia's most high-ranking skate mag that has been supporting the local skate scene that also has gnarly SOTY's since 2004. This year Slam has named Ben Lawrie a.k.a Lincoln Child as the AU Skater Of The Year, presented by Converse.
Lawrie has been skating countless hours in the streets destroying well-known skate spots in Australia has put all eyes on him. He managed to keep grinding even though there's a COVID-19 pandemic happening around the world. The AU SOTY didn't stop from getting high-quality footage and a bunch of photos even at times of heavy lockdown in Melbourne.
