Skateboarding influencer Samwise Sorter has been known for balancing two very different worlds.
On one side, he worked in car sales with Honda for several years. On the other side, he stayed active in skateboarding and built a following for doing tricks around everyday city spots while still showing up at work in the automotive field.
After spending a long stretch with Honda, Samwise eventually stepped away from the company.

He continued focusing on skateboarding and also spent time growing his own project, Pushwise Skateboards, which he built with support from his family.
The brand became a personal outlet for him, mixing his interest in skating with a more independent direction in business.

Life outside work was not always smooth.
There was a period where family responsibilities became heavier after his father in law suffered a stroke and required ongoing care.
That situation shifted priorities at home and led Samwise to look again at steady work in car sales.

He later found a new role with Hyundai, which also happens to be one of Honda’s strongest competitors in the automotive space.
The transition gave him a fresh start while still keeping him in the industry he already knew well.
Samwise shared his return to sales with a simple message online, saying he is back in action as a skateboarding car salesman and inviting people to visit him at Hyundai of Port Richey.
"The return of the skateboarding car salesman! Come see me at Hyundai of Port Richey. 💯❤️🛹"
His post reflected a relaxed attitude about starting again, while still keeping skateboarding as part of his daily life.
For fans who have followed him over the years, the shift feels less like a reinvention and more like a continuation of how he has always worked and lived.
He still skates through the streets, still connects with people through cars, and still finds ways to mix both parts of his life without separating them completely.
The switch to Hyundai brings a different direction in his career, now on the opposite side of a long standing rivalry in the automotive world.
