The Skateboarding Hall of Fame is getting ready for its 2026 Induction Ceremony on May 15 at 5 PM, and it is shaping up to be a special evening for the skate community.
The event will bring together skaters, industry figures, and fans to recognize the people who have helped shape skateboarding over the years.
This year, skateboarding legends Don Brown, Christian Hosoi, and Dave Duncan are part of the announcement, adding even more attention to the upcoming ceremony.
Their involvement shows the respect and recognition that continues to grow around the Hall of Fame and its annual celebration.
The Skateboarding Hall of Fame and Museum shared the official update, inviting everyone to attend the event and secure tickets through the SHoF website. The evening will include tributes to well known skaters who have left a lasting mark on skateboarding history.
A key part of the night will be the presentation of three Lifetime Achievement Awards.
This year’s honorees are Rich Novak, George Powell, and Steve Van Doren. Each of them has played a major role in supporting and shaping the skate industry in different ways, from product innovation to long standing support of skate culture.
The ceremony is expected to be a gathering point for the skateboarding community, offering a chance to reflect on past contributions while celebrating those still active in the scene today.
It is also a moment for fans to connect with the history behind the brands, skaters, and ideas that helped the culture grow.
Tickets are available now through the Skateboarding Hall of Fame website.
