Pro skateboarder Omar Hassan has been shredding up the streets on his skateboard for decades and now he’s getting the recognition he’s earned by joining the Skateboarding Hall of Fame class of 2026.
Since the 1990s, Omar has been skating with insane style, keeping it raw, and earning respect from everyone in the scene.
He shared his excitement on social media saying:
"Hyped and honored to be inducted into the @skateboardinghalloffame with a bunch of awesome humans that I respect and have respected my whole life. Thank you skateboarding see you there!!!!🎉"
The post shows just how much he respects the people he skates with and the community that has always had his back.
Omar has been out there day after day, skating, teaming up with other skaters, and staying true to what skateboarding is all about.
People in the scene have been celebrating his induction, giving props for both his skills and the way he stays authentic to the culture.
By joining the Skateboarding Hall of Fame, Omar is now part of a group of skaters who have shaped skateboarding and inspired the ones who are just picking up their boards.
