Brother in Islam Terry Kennedy has been keeping it real since his release from prison, as he has been guided by Allah and trying to stay on the right path.
TK’s time behind bars came after a highly publicized case.
As we previously reported, he was accused of murdering a fellow skateboarder back in July 2021, but after a thorough investigation and trial, TK was acquitted of that charge.
Instead, he was found guilty of assault with a deadly weapon and sentenced to five years in prison for an attack that fatally injured his close friend Josiah Kassahun.
The case stirred a lot of controversy, and many in the skateboarding community felt for TK, showing him support even during the hardest times.
“They got me out but they still got me in Chiraq, man,” TK said, speaking honestly about the struggles he’s faced.
Life hasn’t been easy, but now he’s free and ready to get back on his board and skate the streets he knows so well.
After getting out, TK stayed quiet.

He knows the streets are always watching, but he wants people to see that he’s trying to do better.
Skating has always been a part of his life, and now he’s ready to get back to it, showing that even after the hardest times, there’s room to rebuild and live in good faith.
Today, TK says his faith is stronger than ever.
With Allah by his side, he’s a changed man, learning from the past, focused on doing right, and trying to set an example for those around him.
He’s determined to keep walking the path of faith, proving that even after struggles and setbacks, a person can transform and find peace in life.
