Skate. has introduced a limited time Nike SB pop-up event that will run until May, bringing a fresh set of in game content built around one of skateboarding’s most corporate brands.
The collaboration adds new challenges inspired by classic Nike SB skate videos, along with custom tasks that reward players for completing objectives across the map.
Players who take part in the event can unlock exclusive cosmetics, including Nike SB Dunk High footwear and Nike SB logo sock items.
These rewards are tied directly to the challenge system, encouraging players to explore different parts of the game and complete themed goals while the pop-up is active.
Alongside this, a Nike SB themed section has been added to the Isle of Grom, a location first introduced in Season 3, giving players a dedicated space connected to the collaboration.
The Grom at Night area will be open to everyone during the event period. After it ends on May 5, access will change.
Players will need either the Skate Premium Pass or a 24 hour San Van Water Taxi pass to continue entering the area once the event window closes.
Nike SB’s involvement reflects its long standing presence in skateboarding culture. Deepa Sen, Senior Director of Global Brand Management at Electronic Arts, noted that Nike SB has been part of skateboarding for over 25 years and highlighted how bringing that history into Skate helps align the game more closely with real skate culture.
Season 3 of Skate will begin on June 2 and will introduce new items and locations inspired by 1970s skate culture.
At that point, night skating will no longer be available, as the feature is tied specifically to the current seasonal event structure.
