Plan B Skateboards' professional skateboarder Chris Joslin has always gone hard on his board, but even one of the heaviest hitters in skateboarding knows when to slow down.
Joslin opened up about the recovery habits that help him loosen up before a session and recover faster afterward. His approach is straightforward and honest.
“These are just some things I personally do to help me get loose before skating,” Chris shared. “They also help after a session so I don’t wake up completely wrecked the next day. I can’t say it eliminates all soreness, but it definitely helps prevent a lot of stiffness.”
The 28-year-old is not claiming to have the perfect plan. He’s just being real about what helps him.
He’s still going big, still flipping into massive sets, and still getting back up when things go wrong. His recovery routine is all about staying consistent and giving his body a chance to catch up with the demands of skating.
If you’ve been feeling sore or locked up after a session, it might be worth borrowing a few things from Joslin’s routine.
