Pro skateboarder Ace Pelka is now officially riding for the skate shoe brand Splay, and he couldn’t be more excited to share the news.
Ace has had his fair share of foot problems over the years, and he’s been waiting for a skate shoe that actually feels natural while skating.
With Splay, he’s finally found it.
The shoe has a wide toe box, letting toes move freely, and a zero-drop design that gives skaters a closer connection to their board.
Ace described discovering Splay as a happy coincidence.
It clicked immediately for him because the shoes address real foot comfort and movement, which has been hard to find in skate shoes. “They won’t be for everyone, but once you try them and feel how they work with your feet, it all makes sense,” he said.
