As we previously reported, Independent Trucks has retired their famous cross logo, replacing it with a new design.

Many skaters were not happy about the change, especially since the old logo had a long history and was closely tied to the brand’s identity.

Some of the backlash came from concerns over the logo’s controversial associations, which made the decision to retire it even more complicated.

Whether it actually returns or if it will appear in limited releases, the posts have certainly gotten people talking and sharing memories of the old days on the board.

Independent fans are now keeping a close eye on the brand for any official announcements.
