Skater rapper BLP Kosher came through with some heavy words after a deadly shooting in Australia hit the Jewish community during Hanukkah.

His message hit hard online, letting people know he’s feeling the pain and telling everyone to stay strong together.

He posted that his heart is with people in Australia and said Jews need to stick together and never hide who they are.

He said that "we are hated everywhere" but that love and unity are what keep people strong.

The shooting went down in Sydney on Sunday at Bondi Beach where people had gathered for the first night of Hanukkah.

Around a thousand people were on the grass at Archer Park when gunfire started at 6:47 p.m. Everyone panicked, running in every direction to survive.

Police said the shooters were a father and son.

The older guy was killed at the scene and the younger one ended up in the hospital in critical but stable condition.

Authorities said the son was born in Australia and the father moved there in the late nineties. Investigators are still looking into why this happened.

At least 15 people died in the attack. The victims ranged from kids to elders. A ten year old girl, a rabbi, a Holocaust survivor, and a French citizen were all taken from this world.

One of the most gut-wrenching stories is about Alex Kleytman, a Holocaust survivor who died protecting his wife. Rabbis Eli Schlanger and Yaakov Levitan, Reuven Morrison from Melbourne, and Dan Elkayam from France were also among the dead.

People who were there said it was a normal, happy scene before everything went wrong. Families on the grass, kids playing, music going, people in the water.

Then gunshots rang out and everyone had to dip fast. Some thought it was fireworks at first until the chaos hit.

Emergency crews showed up quick after the calls came in. People left shoes and bags behind running for their lives.

Witnesses said it was wild, something you never expect to happen in a place like Australia.

Hospitals were filled with injured people, twenty-seven still getting treated the next day. Officials said the victims included families and kids, which made the whole thing even harder to stomach.
