As we previously reported, brother in Christ Brandon Novak has openly shared how giving his life to Jesus Christ changed everything for him.

His massive Jesus back piece has become one of the most recognizable tattoos in skateboarding and represents the faith he has embraced over the years.

Since getting sober, Novak has stayed away from the trouble that once defined much of his life.

These days, he spends his time encouraging others in recovery, sharing his testimony through public speaking, and still enjoying life on a skateboard.

Even with a long career as a professional skateboarder and his time in the Jackass crew, there was one trick that had always escaped him. Novak had never landed a tre flip.

That finally changed at 48 years old.

The clip shows Novak rolling away from his first gnarly tre flip while his iconic Christ back piece is fully visible.

It was a genuine celebration after finally checking off a trick that had been out of reach for decades.

Age is often used as an excuse to stop learning, but Novak showed that there is still plenty of room to improve, even in your 40s.

Landing a first time trick after so many years is something many skaters can appreciate, no matter their skill level.

Sharing the moment on social media, Brandon Novak wrote:

"LANDED MY FIRST TREY FLIP EVER!!
at 48 years old, I landed my first trey flip and as far as I’m concerned, Life doesn’t get any better than this…..🔥❤️🛹"

It was great to see Novak enjoying one of skateboarding's most satisfying tricks while celebrating both his faith and the healthy life he has built.

If you've been telling yourself you're too old to learn something new, Novak just gave everyone a pretty good reason to think again.
