Professional skateboarder Corey Glick has recently been spotted switching up his footwear game.

In a fresh Instagram clip, skaters noticed he was lacing up a pair of Asics, which naturally got a lot of chatter online.

For a while, he was closely associated with Vans, especially after his standout part in Sci-Fi Fantasy’s Endless Beauty. Now people are wondering if he’s officially moved on to something new.

The comments section on his latest post was filled with reactions, with some people joking that “Vans fumbled the bag” and others simply saying they hate to see him leave the brand.

It’s always a big deal in skateboarding when a pro skater changes sponsors, since shoes are such a key part of the culture.

While nothing has been officially announced, the sight of Glick skating in Asics was enough to stir curiosity about what’s going on behind the scenes.

At this point, there’s no confirmation from Asics Skateboarding about whether Glick has officially joined their skate team, or if this is more of a low-key hookup from friends inside the company.

Sometimes riders just try out different shoes before making a decision, and other times it’s a quiet lead-up to a bigger announcement.

Given Glick’s reputation and his role in shaping Sci-Fi Fantasy’s presence in skateboarding, his next move could carry a lot of weight.

For now, all fans can do is keep watching and speculating.

Maybe he’s testing the waters with Asics, maybe it’s just a personal choice, or maybe an official announcement is right around the corner.

Whatever the case, seeing a pro of his level switch up brands always keeps things interesting in skateboarding.
