Ribs Man pulled up to Uganda with some boxes for the local crew and it was a real moment for the skate scene there.
The Uganda Skateboard Society was hyped to get the skate stuff and shared the news online, letting people know they could help get the shipment moving.
On their page they said there was some mystery in the mix and asked folks to chip in if they could. The shipment came all the way from the U.S. and had boards, wheels, and protective gear for the kids and skaters who don’t always have easy access to stuff like this.
For a lot of young skaters in Uganda, skating isn’t just about tricks, it’s about having a place to hang, meet friends, and express themselves. Getting gear like this changes the game and gives the crew more chances to ride and improve.
Ribs Man didn’t just drop off boxes and bounce. He linked up with the skaters, shredded with them, and shared stories from his own experiences. Moments like this show how skateboarding brings people together no matter where you’re from.
Donations help make sure the boards actually reach the skaters who need them. If you’re feeling generous, there’s a link to help them out. It’s a chance to give back and support a scene that’s all about creativity, friendship, and the love of skating.
