It’s not every day that you see a crossover like this. DGK linked up with the underground black metal skate cult Barrier Kult and somehow, it worked.
The “Code of Concrete” collab wrapped up with a strong image, as skateboarding legend Stevie Williams, now known as Lord Williams, holding the deck like it was passed down from a secret order.
The moment was marked by a simple but powerful gesture. Lord Williams, gripping the board. No other bullsh*t. Just respect. It said everything it needed to.
BA.KU. summed it up best in their recent post:
“What a way to wrap up this incredible collaboration with @dgk. Thank you @steviewilliams for this signed CODE OF CONCRETE BA. KU. / DGK board. This has been by far one of our favourite colabs and thank you to everyone who picked up a shirt, board, mask etc. Please ask your local shop if they can still get some bits on order! It won’t last long!"
There’s something raw and honest about seeing BA.KU. stoked like that. For a crew that usually stays in the shadows, hidden under hoods and steeped in ritual, this felt personal. Almost rare.
So if your shop still has some of the Code of Concrete decks? Grab one while you can.
