The non-profit organization Skatistan, which empowers youth through skateboarding and creative learning, is launching a pioneering global movement called 'The World On Board.
The initiative aims to raise $1,000,000 by the end of the year to provide at-risk youth with the necessary spaces and resources to learn, play, and shape their futures in an increasingly uncertain world.
Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk has joined forces with Skateistan to lead the initiative. Hawk believes that skateboarding builds resilience and keeps individuals young at heart.
With over 15 years of expertise, Skatistan has consistently demonstrated that children across the globe are empowering themselves through skateboarding and creative education programs.
"The World On Board" movement seeks to impact the lives of 10,000 children by 2027, spanning 50 countries.
The vision is to create a global network of projects that teach skateboarding skills and foster creativity, resilience, and a sense of community among young people facing challenging circumstances.
To make this vision a reality, Skateistan calls on individuals, communities, and corporations to join the movement and contribute to the cause.
Donations can be made at Skateistan.org, where supporters can learn more about the initiative and track the progress toward the fundraising goal.
