Singaporean grindcore metal masters Wormrot has been thankful for this year's solid life-changing experience even though their original members, Arif and Azean parted ways from the band. They also reminded fans that their 2023 European tour is coming, and everyone should prepare for chaos.
The duo also shared that they plan to add a new violinist to their band, which is quite aberrant in the extreme metal scene. Hence, it would be a hit or miss since the violin is unknown to the metal world.
Wormrot posted. "2022 has been a year of change and renewed energy. From the departure of one of the original members, Arif, to the overwhelming response to HISS, it was nothing short of eventful. And we've yet to play a show!"
"We're starting the new year with the Europe tour in February with Gabriel Dubko filling in for vocals." They said. "More tours are definitely in the works. We'll also try to plan some shows with our violinist Myra Choo if we can work out our schedules."
The band added. Our inbox is bursting with all your AOTY tags and mentions, and we definitely tried our best to catch all of them."
"We never thought HISS would resonate so much to so many. Grindcore isn't an accessible form of music for new listeners, so thank you for giving HISS a chance. They mentioned. "Have a cool new year, and hope to see you in 2023."
