A 28-year-old woman has been arrested after allegedly entering her local American senior high school dressed as a teen skateboarder with a backpack to promote her social media account.
You could grow your Instagram followers naturally by posting photos and engaging with other users on the platform. You can also buy followers with bots commenting on your post but not Audrey Nicole Francisquini.
You may think that pranking a school using a YouTube channel dressed as a teen skater could potentially increase someone's visibility.
According to CBS Maimi, Francisquini stood out and recorded herself inside the school on Monday by handing out flyers to boost her social media following.
The 28-year-old woman from Florida allegedly tried to blend in, wearing a backpack and carrying a skateboard just like the signature look of the legendary pro skater Chad Muska.
The real students went to class, and the alleged swindler was confronted by the security of the school. Francisquini said she was looking for the registration office, according to reports.
Francisquini reportedly fled the scene after her suspicious behavior was challenged by the school security officials but was later tracked down by the police using her Instagram handle.
The Washington Post newspaper reported that Francisquini is a former police officer in DeKalb County, Georgia, who lost her job in 2017 when she was arrested and accused of hacking into another officer’s social media account posting nude photos of a fellow female officer.
She has been charged with burglary, interference with an educational institution, and resisting an officer without violence, the BBC reports.
