Never Use Age as an Excuse
It's a common belief that age is a determining factor in ability. However, there's absolutely nothing you can do about it because we all get old, and that's the reality. There's no point in worrying about it. If you're young, you still have many things to learn.
Don't compare your life to someone else's. It doesn't matter what point you are at in your life or even your age. You are never too young or too old to learn new things. Just don't compare where your life is at to someone who has put in more years of work and time than you.
Be Patient and Build Gradually
The road to achievement is long, and those without patience who want to see results immediately may not be willing to walk it. Reaching success takes a long time. Sometimes making sales in a skate shop takes a while. Don't give up. Remember that the game is long, and you won't always get immediate where you want to be.
