Professional skateboarders come and go on skateboard companies, and sometimes it's galling to have a loyal rider leave the team, but Brad McClain has three months left on Powell Peralta.
Unfortunately, he received a message that he needed to move on instead of waiting for his final days on the team, and he was still thankful, no matter the circumstances.
"I have 3 months left on my Powell Peralta contract and have been informed that the day has finally come to move on," McClain said. "Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years and bought my boards."
"I owe everything to all of you." He said. "Thanks to everyone at Skate One and Powell Peralta for the years of support and the countless good times! You all are the best and I have nothing but love. What an absolute honor it has been."
He added. "The reason I'm posting this a little early is to give anyone the chance who's ever wanted one of my boards to try to get out and get one before they're no longer available! Thanks again to everybody involved and I'll see ya around."
