As we previously reported, Manramp and Worble Crew pulled up to America's Got Talent and impressed all four judges.
Mel B, Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, and Simon Cowell each gave the skate crew a yes, sending them through to the next round of the competition.
The crowd inside the theater loved the performance, and a lot of the skaters in the skate community celebrated seeing street skating get that kind of exposure on one of the biggest television shows in the world.
It was a proud moment to see skaters represent their scene in front of a global audience.
However, not everyone shared that excitement though.
Gatekeeping King Weckingball had a very different opinion and publicly criticized Manramp and Worble Crew after their successful appearance on the show.
He accused them of selling out and abandoning what he believes skateboarding should stand for.
In a post shared on social media, Weckingball wrote:
"Bunch of circus monkeys. Pimping themselves to Hollywood and disrespecting our integrity. Pathetic activities."
The debate around skateboarding and mainstream entertainment has been around for years.
Corporate skaters welcome opportunities that introduce skateboarding to new audiences, while core heads feel that television competitions and large entertainment platforms can take away from the culture that has grown through local communities, independent videos, and street sessions.

Manramp and Worble Crew have not publicly responded to Weckingball's comments at the time of writing.
While the crew continues its run on America's Got Talent, it will be interesting to see how the core community accepts it, especially as more people outside the skate community discover their skating through the show.
