Professional skateboarder and Top of Mason author Walker Ryan have parted ways with his long-time board sponsor SOVRN Skateboards.
Ryan posted. "Thank you SOVRN Skateboards Though I will no longer be riding for the brand, I have nothing but love for everyone involved with SOVRN."
"They are some of the best people I've ever worked with—from videos, to graphics to photos and more." He said. "I'm super grateful for the team and everyone I've gotten to know the past five years, many whom will remain lifelong friends. I just feel it's time for a new chapter."
Many pro skaters leave their beloved skateboard companies to start their own brands, but who knows? Maybe Ryan just wants to be a free agent.
