There is a lot going on in skateboarding right now.

Between contest circuits picking up speed again, social media making everything feel like a nonstop highlight reel, and traditional skate media trying to keep its place, it is easy to see why some skaters feel caught between different worlds.

Element Skateboards pro skater Vincent Milou seems to be handling it all with a calm sense of clarity.

After a long stretch without a clear board sponsor, Vincent recently made it official with Element Skateboards.

It feels like the right fit. His skating has always had a sharp and Element’s approach lines up with the way he carries himself on and off the board.

There is no need to shout or put on a performance. He lets his skating speak.

Coming off a return to Rome for the WST World Cup 2025, Vincent took a moment to talk with Marc Churchill for World Skate SB.

The conversation touched on a bit of everything. From his place in the contest scene to how he sees the future of skateboarding, Vincent kept it honest and grounded.

He spoke about the strange expectations that now come with being a pro skater. Skaters are expected to be everywhere at once.

They need to be present in contests while also keeping their street clips fresh, keeping sponsors happy, and still maintaining some sense of originality. It is not easy. But Vincent seems to have figured out how to stay steady.

As one of the most recognizable skaters from France right now, currently ranked 30th in the WST Street standings, he carries a quiet sense of pride. He knows where he comes from. He knows how far he has come. And he knows what kind of skating feels right to him.
