Core skater and rapper Lil Gnar faced backlash after posting a skate clip that didn’t sit right with a lot of people.

In the video, he ollies over a homeless man who looks like he’s asleep, while Lil Gnar’s own song “Rockstar Party” plays in the background.

Some fans were into the trick and the music, but plenty of others weren’t feeling it at all. A lot of people called him out for being disrespectful and using a vulnerable person as a prop for a video.

One person wrote, “ion know.. doing an ollie on a homeless man after sliding thousands on the ground.. there’s a message here..”

The man on the ground didn’t move and didn’t seem to know what was going on, which made it feel even more messed up.

It wasn’t like Gnar was skating a spot that happened to have someone nearby. It felt intentional, and that rubbed a lot of folks the wrong way.
