Birdhouse professional skateboarder Lizzie Armanto has finally received her own signature skate shoes from Vans skateboarding.
The original skateboarding shoe brand and global leader in skating for more than 50 years has unveiled their girl skater rider's sneaker called "The Lizzie."
"Something else entirely is finally here." Vans skate posted. "Find The Lizzie, created and inspired by Lizzie Armanto for a new generation of skateboarders, at skate shops and Vans retailers worldwide starting today."
“I really enjoyed the process of creating a shoe from the ground up,” Armanto said. “I felt compelled to make a shoe that is simple, functional, feels good on your feet and has a bit of soul, and feel proud of what we were able to accomplish.”
According to Vans, Armanto is the first ever female skateboarder in the last 20 years to get her own Vans skate shoe.
