The infamous and one of the longest skate shoe company that ever existed in skateboarding history, Vans off the wall has announced the launch of their newest digital streaming network "Channel 66" that will be broadcasting weekdays from New York City, Chicago, Mexico City, and Los Angeles to their audience worldwide.
The 54-year-old skateboard shoe company is known globally and has the biggest skate events for decades. They support skating, art, music, and other cool events to keep the community stronger. This time around their new programming will include DJ sets, curated radio shows, musical performances, and more.
Channel 66 derives from when the business started in 1966. It is also the embodiment of their commitment to support the artists and creatives while uplifting the community during such an unprecedented time. The organization will be offering shows like Cheeseboxing with GZA, Afropunk’s Channel Interference, Young Chicago Authors’ Poetry and lyricism, and New Direction New York Hardcore with Walter Schreifels.
According to a press release. Early guests include Japanese Breakfast, Channel Tres, Vic Mensa, Laura Jane Grace, and Action Bronson. Channel 66 went live Monday and will continue to broadcast starting at 11:00 a.m. Eastern standard time on weekdays.
