A modern version of the 1991 cult classic "Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead" is coming to theaters on April 12 featuring the Two-Time Skater Of The Year and King Skateboards head honcho Tyshawn Jones.

The remake features a star-studded cast and puts a fresh spin on the original storyline, showing that babysitting can be more than just a walk in the park.

Unlike the original, which centered on a white family, the remake focuses on a Black family, with comedian Pat portraying the matriarch. Simone Joy Jones plays Tanya Crandell, who must take charge of the household when their mother is away.

The 1991 original was a PG-13 film with a dark sense of humor, directed by Wade Allain-Marcus and written by Chuck Hayward. Although it received mixed reviews at first, it has since gained a cult following, largely due to Christina Applegate's excellent performance.
