Yoshio Habuto just dropped a welcome part for Toa Kanazawa's 'Flowgressive,' and it’s packed with the kind of VX1000-fueled clips that get you hyped to hit the streets.
Filmed entirely in Tokyo with that classic MK1 lens look, this one is a proper introduction to what Kanazawa brings to the table: smooth lines, wild trick selection, and a way of making everything look way easier than it should be.
If you’ve been keeping an eye on Japanese skateboarding, you already know the spots out there are no joke - rugged pavement, tight run-ups, security breathing down your neck.
But Kanazawa rolls through like it’s nothing with the kind of flow that makes a VX part feel timeless.
Habuto handled the main filming and editing, while Yoichi Tamura contributed additional footage - both bringing that classic Tokyo street aesthetic to the project.
And to top it off, Haruka Katagata provided the soundtrack, keeping the whole thing rolling with just the right mood.
The part also features a guest appearance from Yuta Oizumi, another skater you’ll definitely want to keep an eye on.
Tokyo’s skate scene has been on fire, and this part is another solid entry into the growing archive of must-watch VX edits coming out of Japan.
Kanazawa makes a strong case for why he’s getting this well-deserved shine. Hit play, soak it in, and get ready to see a lot more of him in the future.
