While Pool is widely recognized for his political commentary and news coverage, his latest social media post offers a look at the effort it took to build his YouTube channel into what it is today.
Pool recently shared a throwback to his mindset ten years ago, when reaching one million YouTube subscribers felt like a distant goal.
At the time, earning the platform's Gold Creator Award seemed like something that would take a long time to achieve.
Today, he has three Gold YouTube Awards and five Silver Creator Awards to show for his work.
"I remember ten years ago thinking to myself, 'How do I get from here to there,'" Pool wrote in his post, recalling how far away that first Gold Award once seemed.

He also shared a simple message about taking things one step at a time, pointing out that even the longest journey begins with a single step.
Looking back at his achievements, Pool encouraged others to keep working toward their goals, even when the results feel far out of reach.
"Never give up you can do it," he added.
Building an audience has been about more than collecting subscriber numbers.
He has developed a substantial online following through his news coverage, political discussions, and commentary on ongoing cultural debates.

His content has attracted a dedicated audience, helping him grow his platform and expand his reach across the internet.
Outside of media, Pool has also remained connected to skateboarding.
As the head of Boonies Skateboards, he has taken his interests into business, building a brand tied to the culture that has been part of his life for years.
His involvement in skateboarding and his work in online media show how he has pursued different interests while continuing to develop his public profile.
