This past Wednesday in Barcelona, There Skateboards and Unity Skateboarding teamed up for a laid-back but meaningful session at Picnic DIY Skatepark to celebrate Pride Month.
Skaters from all over the city showed up for an afternoon of community, creativity, and connection.
The call to "Skate with us" was simple, and the turnout spoke volumes. Locals, travelers, longtime friends, and new faces came together not just to skate, but to share space, show support, and be themselves.
With the teams from There, Unity, and Double Down Zine present, the event brought a sense of real presence and care to the skatepark.
Barcelona’s DIY scene has always had a welcoming feel.
People skated hard, cheered each other on, swapped boards and stories, and spent time just being together.
