Tuesday, May 19 is shaping up to be a big night for the crew at There Skateboards as the LGBTQIA+ skate team gets ready to host a Skate Jam at Plaza before heading over to Anti Social shop for the premiere of a new video from Lau Willems.
The already caught attention online after the crew shared the flyer across social media. Skaters, homies, and supporters are already talking about showing up for the session and the premiere later that night.
The Skate Jam is expected to bring together local skaters and supporters for an evening at Plaza where people can skate, hang out, and support the scene.
After the jam wraps up, everyone will head over to Anti Social shop where the new Lau Willems video will officially premiere.
Over the years, There Skateboards has continued building a strong name in skateboarding while creating space for the growing queer skaters within the community.
For many skateboarders, nights like these are what skateboarding is all about. Friends pulling up, skating all day, then ending the night packed inside a skate shop watching a fresh video with the whole community.
