OG pro skater Steve Olson, also known as Crazy Monk, has revealed a new skateboard deck for his brand Inner City Shinobi.
The deck pays tribute to Hubba Hideout, the legendary San Francisco skate spot that has played a big role in skateboarding history.
Olson shared the new graphic on social media, calling Hubba Hideout a temple and dojo for skaters. The artwork was created with his friend and artist David Flores, based on Olson's idea of showing Hubba Hideout as a sacred temple.
Only 100 decks are being made, and Olson is already taking pre orders through direct messages. He said his previous deck sold out within days.
Each deck also comes with a Shinobi spiritual knowledge manual written by Olson and a mala of street Ninjutsu prayer beads.
Inner City Shinobi is built around Olson's philosophy of "Skateboarding as a Path to Enlightenment." At 50 years old, Olson continues to skate and sees skateboarding as a spiritual practice that helps keep the body and mind strong.
For Olson, the new Hubba Hideout deck brings together skateboarding, art and his personal spiritual beliefs in one release.

"THE TEMPLE OF HUBBA HIDEOUT‼️
I'm dropping a Skateboard deck in honor of Hubba Hideout ; the legendary Sk8 spot / Temple / Dojo in SF, where so many skaters were able to tap into the Jedi Force. This deck is being released by my new Skate company INNER CITY SHINOBI
I have 100 decks on the way & I will have them soon. I'm taking pre orders now‼️
Send me a DM if interested in pre ordering a deck. Last time I dropped a deck we sold out in a matter of days. Each deck comes with a manual of Shinobi Spiritual knowledge written by me; each deck also comes with a mala of street Ninjutsu Prayer beads.
My sk8 company is different than any other company out there.
The philosophy behind INNER CITY SHINOBI, is to follow the way of: SKATEBOARDING AS A PATH TO ENLIGHTENMENT
I'm now 50 years old, and I'm blessed to be able to still skate; skateboarding is a Spiritual Warrior art that helps us absorb higher positive energy from the Universe, and remain strong & heal our body.
This is one of my favorite graphics I have ever had on a deck. I had a vision for having Hubba Hideout on a skateboard as a Sacred temple; through a collab of ideas , my friend & artist David Flores brought this vision of this Hubba Hideout graphic to life‼️
Thank you to everyone for the support & much Love to the Skateboarding community & everyone seeking Enlightenment through the Mystic Art of Skateboarding ♾️♥️🥷🥷🥷🥷🥷🥷🥷🥷🥷🥷"
