Olson revealed that he has stayed sober for nearly two decades. He also shared that he has gone 26 years without eating meat or eggs.

He has gone more than a year without coffee and now hopes to cut out caffeine, chocolate, honey, cane sugar and other sweeteners for longer periods.

His goal is to simplify his diet and focus on foods and drinks he believes will help him feel healthier.

He described plans to consume water, fruit juices, raw fruits, vegetables, cooked meals, spiritual herbs, sea salt and raw milk.

He also mentioned experimenting with different fasting practices as part of his personal approach to physical and spiritual well-being.

At 50, Olson says he still has the mind and heart of a child. He credits his spiritual practices with helping him find inner peace, develop concentration and feel connected to something greater than himself.

His post also touched on his belief in spiritual techniques that he says allow him to release intoxicating substances from his brain.

He described a practice involving the opening of what he calls the celestial aperture at the top of the head, which he believes requires deep concentration and dedication.

Olson also directed a message toward people dealing with addiction, encouraging them to believe in their ability to make changes in their lives and find happiness through sobriety.

He closed his post by thanking his friends, family and everyone who has supported him, while sending love and positivity to the wider universe.

Olson used the occasion to share his personal beliefs, celebrate his years of sobriety and encourage others who may be working toward a life without drugs or alcohol.
